Usually people think a soul mate is ur perfect fit, and that’s what everyone wants. But a true soulmate is a mirror, the person who shows u everything that’s holding u back, the person who bring u to ur attention so u can change ur life.

A true soul mate is probably the most important person u’ll ever meet, because they tear down ur walls and smack u awake. But to live with a soulmate forever is not possible because it too painful. They come into ur life just to reveal another layer of urself to u, and then they leave.



Being a victim is supposed to set you free; it acquits you of any agency, any sense of responsibility to the person who did you harm.
You cannot make yourself have a flashback, nor will you have one unless you are emotionally ready to remember something. Once remembered, the memory can help you to face more of the truth.

The thing that most people didn’t understand, the more you face the truth, the angrier you will probably become. You have a right to be angry about being sexually abused. You have a right to be angry with the perpetrator, regardless of who it was, how long ago the sexual abuse occurred, or how much he/she has changed..
